Ridgeway is a village in the district of North East Derbyshire in England.
   Ridgeway lies just south of the South Yorkshire border, around 5 miles south-east of Sheffield.
   It is believed to be around 700 years old and would once have been part of Sherwood Forest. It has a junior school, a church, four pubs, a Craft Centre, sports facilities (football, tennis, bowls, cricket) and a Michelin star restaurant.
   Notible resident:- Clinton WOODS IBF Light Heavy weight world Champion.
